Research and Project

ILEE encourages interdisciplinary research for which steps are being taken up for developing a dedicated team of scholars to support sponsored research programmes. The Institute, subject to availability of fund, may also promote micro-projects in chosen fields of studies on landscape, ecology and ekistics in the near future.

Conferences and Training Programmes

ILEE has organised seminars and conferences on various themes of contemporary interest during its glorious past. Recently the Institute has focused on organising various training programmes and workshops for the research scholars and faculty members of the colleges and universities. The last two workshops in FY: 2018-19 were held to deliberate on application RS & GIS using open source platform, and quantitative and qualitative techniques of research in Geosciences. More such programmes are in the pipeline.
